This collection makes clear why FashionX is so excited about digital clothing: Wearing upside-down canyons, a burning flame, and sleeves as large as columns exemplify the boundless creativity that is made possible through 3D clothing and AR fitting. The grandeur and global language of architecture serve as the ideal showcase for the expressive potential of these technologies. Moreover, cultural fashion is becoming an increasingly integral aspect of FashionX. This year’s collection further demonstrates how digital fabrics and precise true-to-life editing make prototyping heritage fashion more accessible than ever.
Tommy Bruzzese, Executive Director, FashionX
Stanford FashionX is thrilled to be partnering with industry leaders CLO and ZERO10 to develop a collection that inspires a fashion revolution. We were so happy not only with the final products, but the whole learning process. CLO is extremely intuitive to use and ZERO10 provides a tangible experience that is immediately accessible to anybody. The power of this digital medium is how there aren’t any hard-set rules: we get to write them, leveraging this technology to produce new standards where sustainability is at the core of fashion production.
